Bhubaneswar : The State Government on Thursday renamed the ‘Odisha Fire Service’ as ‘Odisha Fire & Emergency Service’. The Law Department has published a gazette notification into this effect. With this, the role of fire service in rescue, restoration & relief during any danger or threat of any disaster is now clearly spelt out as ‘Odisha Fire & Emergency Service’. function
