Bhubaneswar: Odisha vigilance on Tuesday conducted searches on the premises of a Deputy Manager with IDCOL, Gaya Santara, in connection with a case of acquisition and possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
On the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by the accused officer, 7 teams led by as many Deputy SPs of the Vigilance carried out raids at different locations in Bhubaneswar, Koraput, Rayagada and Nayagarh in this connection.
Following this, searches were underway at the following locations:
- Â Three-storeyed building in Mancheswar Industrial Estate;
- Â Four-storeyed building (under construction) in Jaydev Vihar, Bhubaneswar;
- Â Rented house located at Sunki gate in Koraput;
- Â Office chamber at Ampa Valli-Simagoda, Koraput;
-  Business establishment – Global Engineers located at Sector-A, Zone-D, Mancheswar Industrial Estate.
- Â Paternal house at Patna Sahi, Komanda, Odagaon in Nayagarh district
- Â In-laws house at Paika Street, Muniguda Dist- Rayagada.
Further updates on searches on properties linked to Sri Gaya Santara, Deputy Manager, IDCOL, Ampa Valli Lime Stone Mines, Simagoda, Koraput. During house searches so far, the following assets have been unearthed in the name of Sri Gaya Santara and his family members.
1) Four-storeyed building (under construction) located over plot No. 295/2315, Jaydev Vihar, Bhubaneswar.
2) Three-storeyed building located over plot No. 63/A, Sector-A, Zone D, Mancheswar Industrial Estate, Bhubaneswar.
3) 13 Plots in prime areas of Bhubaneswar, Jajpur and Nayagarh;
