Operation Sindoor Sends Loud Message Against Pakistan-Sponsored Terrorism: Raghav Chadha

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha declared that India’s Operation Sindoor has delivered a strong and unequivocal message to the global community—that the country will not tolerate Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.

Speaking at the Asia Leadership Conference (ALC) in South Korea, often referred to as the “Davos of the East,” Chadha addressed an audience of international diplomats and policymakers. He emphasized that India’s counter-terror operation was not just a military offensive but a statement of intent.

“Operation Sindoor was not just a strike—it was a message. India does not seek war, but it will not hesitate to defend its citizens,” he said.

Chadha explained that the May 7 operation, which targeted nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, marked a pivotal shift in India’s security posture. Over 100 terrorists were reportedly killed. The Indian Air Force (IAF) also struck 13 Pakistani military installations, making it the most significant response since the 1971 war.

The MP also called on the international community to unite against global terrorism, urging action to eliminate safe havens for extremists.

“Peace is India’s ideal, but resilience is in our DNA—from Gandhi to Bhagat Singh,” Chadha said, drawing a contrast between India’s philosophy of non-violence and its firm stance on national security.

The strike came in retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which killed 26 people, mostly civilians. A ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan followed on May 10, halting further escalation.
