New Delhi: Madhur Bhandarkar’s directorial ‘India Lockdown’ will have its world premiere at the upcoming 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI), to be held in Goa from November 20 to 28.
Talking about the film, inspired by true events, India Lockdown depicts four parallel stories and the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic on the people of India. The film stars Prateik Babbar, Shweta Basu Prasad, Sai Tamhankar, Aahana Kumra, Zarin Shihab, Ayeesha Aiman and Sativik Bhatia. It is written by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah.
The film is jointly produced by Jayantilal Gada of PEN Studios, Bhandarkar Entertainment and Pranav Jain’s PJ Motions Pictures. It is set for a direct-to-digital release on ZEE5 on December 2.
