DhabaleswarCuttack: While the famous Dhabaleswar Yatra has been suspended this year, this year devotees can avail darshan of Dhabaleswar virtually as a huge LED screen display will be set up near hanging bridge for the purpose.
Besides, Gaja Bhoga and other dry Prasad will be made available near the bridge.
A day after the horrific incident of the collapse of a cable suspension bridge in Morbi, Gujarat in which 140 people were killed, prohibitory orders under Section 144 have been clamped at Dhabaleswar shrine in Cuttack for carrying out the repair work of the hanging bridge, informed Athagarh Sub Collector on Monday.
Prohibitory orders have been clamped due to safety concerns as hanging bridge is in a precarious condition, informed Khordha SP Sidharth Kataria who is in-charge-SP of Cuttack.
Alarmed by the tragedy at Morbi in Gujarat, where over 140 people were killed in a suspension bridge collapse, the administration had restricted the number or people on the hanging bridge connecting the temple to a maximum 200 at a time.
It has a capacity to carry 600 persons at a time.
