Cuttack: Two More Arrested For Selling Fake Medicines

Cuttack: Police here have arrested two more persons for their alleged involvement in the sale of spurious BP medicines in Cuttack. As per reports, the duo was buying these fake medicines from distributors and selling it to small traders in the city. Notably, the Odisha Health department recently traced a huge cache of Telma 40 tablets and Telma AM tablets distributed to pharma shops in Cuttack as counterfeit under Section-17B (e) of Drugs & Cosmetics Act based on the report received from original manufacturer.
