Bhubaneswar witnessed a swift police operation after a four-year-old boy was allegedly abducted by his foster uncle in the Bhoi Nagar area.
The accused, identified as Abhisek Digal (alias Sonu), had recently returned from Bengaluru. Sonu was invited to the boy’s home by his mother, Gorita Singh, but later took the child without informing the parents. The boy’s elder brother noticed the abduction and raised an alarm.
When frantic searches failed, the family complained to the Saheed Nagar police station, prompting swift action.
A special police team tracked mobile phones and raided multiple locations before rescuing the child from Salia Sahi. The accused was arrested and is now being interrogated to uncover his motive.
