New Delhi: The mortal remains of Lieutenant Advitiya Bal will be brought to his hometown in Jammu and Kashmir today.
Two pilots, Wing Commander M Rana and Flight Lieutenant Advitiya Bal, were killed when a MiG-21 fighter aircraft crashed in Rajasthan’s Barmer district on Thursday evening.
A wreath laying ceremony will be held at the Air Force Station in Jammu and Kashmir. Later, the mortal remains will be sent to his hometown in RS Pura where a cremation ceremony will take place.
Lt Advitiya Bal and Wing Commander M Rana were conducting a sortie over the Baytu region when the crash happened.
