Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday distributed appointment letters to 6390 candidates in various departments at a recruitment fair organized at Capital High School in Bhubaneswar Unit-3.
This includes the appointment of 2,753 Multi-Purpose Women Health Workers in the Health and Family Welfare Department, 57 Amins in the Water Resources Department, 894 teachers and supervisors in the School and Mass Education Department, 37 Supply Inspectors in the Food Supply and Consumer Welfare Department, 212 Junior Fisheries Technical Assistants in the Fisheries and Livestock Department, 34 Accountants in the Housing and Urban Development Department, 123 Assistant Training Officers in the Skill Development and Technical Education Department.
Appointment letters have been issued to 894 chairpersons and teachers of Odisha Model Schools and Odisha Mining Model Schools of the School and Mass Education Department. The letters have been issued to 1798 teachers of fully aided private high schools, 28 junior assistants of the Higher Secondary Education Council, 27 junior assistants of the Higher Secondary Education Directorate, 18 junior assistants of the Secondary Education Council and 2 reviewers under the Higher Secondary Education Directorate.
The Chief Minister attended the recruitment fair as the chief guest, while Deputy Chief Minister Parvati Parida, Minister for School and Mass Education, Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Caste Development, Minority Communities and Backward Classes Welfare Nityananda Gond, Health Minister Dr Mukesh Mahaling, Minister for Housing and Urban Development Dr Krishna Chandra Mahapatra, Minister for Skill and Technical Education Sampad Chandra Swain, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, Development Commissioner and Additional Secretary Anu Garg and secretaries of various departments were also present.
