New Delhi: Vivo has added the latest smartphone to its Y-series as its new budget-friendly smartphone. The newly launched smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon chipset. It is a polycarbonate build with a plastic frame. There is a dual-camera setup on the back as well. Vivo has launched the phone in two colours. Vivo Y55 4G is currently only released in Vietnam. Only the 8GB RAM + 128GB onboard storage option is available, which is priced at VND 6,990,000 (approximately Rs 23,300). Vivo currently offers only Black Star and Snow White colour options.
Specification
Talking about the specification of the Vivo Y55 4G, it comes with a 6.44-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The AMOLED display has a 180Hz touch sampling rate and supports the DCI-P3 colour gamut. It has a waterdrop notch at the top for the front camera and a thick chin bezel.
Moreover, there is a rectangular camera module. The phone has a dual-camera setup with a 50MP main camera. There is a 2MP depth sensor as well. For selfies and video calls, the Y55 4G has a 16MP front camera sensor.
The device draws power from a Snapdragon 680 SoC. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 4GB of virtual RAM support, which is drawn from the 128GB of internal storage. There is support for memory expansion using a microSD card slot.
