New Delhi: Again trading of barbs between Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) surfaced on Social media. A war of words has erupted between Congress and the ruling BJP.
This comes hours after the BJP released a video of Rahul Gandhi at a nightclub in Kathmandu, the Congress struck back with a photo of Rajya Sabha MP Prakash Javadekar popping a Champagne bottle at a party.

The photo was shared by Congress leader BV Srinivas with the caption: pehchaan kaun (identify who)?
Rahul Gandhi’s video triggered an onslaught of tweets by supporters of the BJP, taking shots at the Congress leader for partying at a time when his party is fraught with infighting and rebellion.
“Rahul Gandhi was at a nightclub when Mumbai was under seize. He is at a nightclub at a time when his party is exploding. He is consistent,” tweeted Amit Malviya, BJP’s head of IT-cell.
The Congress soon hit back, saying it is not a crime to visit a ‘friendly nation’ to attend the wedding of a friend. Party spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said that Rahul Gandhi attending a friend’s wedding in Nepal is much less scandalous than PM Modi’s surprise stop in Pakistan to attend the wedding of Nawaz Sharif’s daughter in 2015.
“What is wrong in it when he attends a marriage reception? Why Sanghi’s are afraid about him? Why Sanghi’s are spreading lies? Everyone of us attend private functions,” tweeted party MP Manickam Tagore.
