Koraput: In a huge catch, the joint team of Machkund & Lamtaput police in Koraput district today seized 134 kg of ganja and arrested two persons in this connection.
The accused duo has been identified as Chaturam from Bihar and Razia Pashwan from Delhi.
Acting on a tip-off, the joint patrolling team successfully apprehended the accused while the contraband was being smuggled to Bihar from Andhra Pradesh through Odisha.
Reportedly, the duo’s car was intercepted by the cops while they were attempting to speed away from the spot.
Following a thorough search, 134 kg of ganja that were hidden in special chambers.
