In a tragic incident that has sent ripples of horror, a man was brutally murdered by his uncle following an intense family dispute in Sundaragada district.
The gruesome attack took place on Tuesday night in the Harada Toli area under the Jalangbira village, within the jurisdiction of the Biramitrapur police station. The victim has been identified as Itwa Kujur, while the accused uncle is Rupu Kujur.
According to initial reports, local authorities received information about the violent confrontation early Wednesday morning. Promptly responding to the alert, a specialised team of Biramitrapur police, accompanied by a scientific forensic unit, rushed to the crime scene to gather evidence.
