Authorities at RCM College in Khallikote, Ganjam, have officially suspended the scheduled student union oath-taking ceremony following recent developments regarding the campus election results.
The decision to put the proceedings on hold came after an official application was submitted requesting a recounting of votes cast during the student elections.
To ensure fairness, address the grievances raised by candidates, and maintain peace on campus, the college administration chose to defer the event.
Consequently, college authorities have decided that the oath-taking ceremony will now be conducted only after the ongoing college holidays conclude and normal academic operations resume.
Local administration continues to monitor the campus environment to ensure smooth proceedings when the event is rescheduled.
