Security has been significantly tightened around the Odisha Assembly as Commissionerate Police deploys 80 platoons to ensure foolproof security during the Congress’ gherao protest.

In anticipation of the massive demonstration, several barricades have been set up at key locations, restricting movement near the Assembly. Police officials are closely monitoring the situation to prevent any untoward incidents during the protest.

The heavy deployment aims to maintain law and order as Congress workers and leaders prepare to march towards the Odisha Assembly, demanding action on various issues concerning the state.

Authorities have urged the public to cooperate with security arrangements and avoid high-security zones around the Assembly premises.
