Bolangir: An eight-year-old boy was allegedly hacked to death over a land dispute at Pandaren village under Turekela PS limits in the district.
The deceased has been identified as Parmeswar Gahir.
He was allegedly axed to death by one Jiten Poda of Pandren village this morning. On the other hand, Parmeswar’s elder brother Dhanpat, who also sustained critical injuries, is undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.
Meanwhile, police have arrested the accused Jiten for further investigation into the incident, sources said.
