Gurugram: A six-month-old girl died while four people suffered injuries after an SUV they were travelling in collided head-on with a police emergency response vehicle (ERV) on Gurugram-Faridabad road.
As per reports, the police emergency response vehicle was being driven on the wrong side whihc led to the accident. Soon after the incident, Police reached the spot and launched a probe.
According to the sources, the policemen involved in the accident fled the site.
Following the incident, a departmental proceedings has been initiated against the driver, special police officer (SPO) and head constable in connection with the incident.
A case has been registered under Sections 279, 337, 427, 304A of the Indian Penal Code. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
