Bhubaneswar: With 245 more people testing positive for the infection, Odisha’s COVID-19 tally on Friday mounted to 3,31,396, a health department official said.
The new cases were detected in 23 of the state’s 30 districts, with 141 reported from different quarantine centres and 104 are local contact cases.
Bolangir district recorded the highest of 40 new cases followed by Khurda (25) and Angul (20).
The state now has 2,163 active cases, while 3,27,290 patients have recovered from the highly infectious disease including 282 in the last 24 hours.
Odisha has so far conducted 71,11,212 sample tests for COVID-19.
