Dhenkanal: The body of a youth was found hanging from a tree in the Bhuban locality of the Dhenkanal district this morning.
The identity of the deceased was not known immediately.
According to reports, the matter came to the fore after some locals spotted the body hanging from a tree near the Fire Station in Bhuban and alerted the police about the same.
On being informed, police reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem.
According to a preliminary investigation, police suspected that the youth might have committed suicide. However, the exact reason behind the death of the youth is yet to be ascertained.
Further investigation is underway.
