Kandhamal: A youth was killed while another person sustained injuries in a road mishap at Baliguda in Kandhamal district.
The deceased has been identified as Nakul Bhoi of Uma village in Boudh district.
As per reports, the incident took place while the Nakul along with Mantu Sahani, was returning back home after attending a marriage function when the rider of the vehicle lost control over the wheels and veered off-road.
While Nakaul died on the spot, Mantu sustained grievous injuries in the mishap.
On being informed, police reached the spot and recovered the body for post mortem. Further investigation is underway in this regard, sources said.
Initially, Mantu rushed to Baliguda hospital, later shifted to Phulbani DHH after his health condition deteriorated.
