Dhenkanal: A youth was killed, while another was injured in a road mishap after the motorcycle they were riding hit a tree along the road at Mukundpur in Dhenkanal district today.
The deceased was identified Krupasindhu Patra.
According to sources, the accident occurred while Krupasindhu along with his friend Ranjit was returning to their native place on the two-wheeler when the rider lost control over the wheels and hit a tree along the road.
Though locals rescued the victims and rushed them to a nearby hospital, Krupasindhu was declared “dead” by the doctors.
