Bhubaneswar: Police arrested a youth on the charges of swindling Rs 57.49k from the delivery company in Bhubaneswar.
The arrested accused has been identified as Lipu Milan Das (22) from Tantichira village under Hindol Police station limits in Dhenkanal district.
According to available information, the accused took the ID card of one Alok Behera from Nayagarh area and started working as a delivery boy in the company on November 3, 2020. He worked for three days. But Instead of submitting the collected amount, he decamped with the money.
Following this the organisation’s HR, Priyanka Behera filed a complaint against Alok Behera with the local police station.
Acting on the complaint, police registered a case and launched a probe in this regard. After pertinent efforts, police managed to nab the accused and later forwarded him to the court.
