Bhubaneswar: Cyber police on Tuesday arrested a youth for allegedly posting nude pictures of a minor girl on social media.
The accused has been identified as Mukesh Nayak, a resident of Samantapur in Bhubaneswar.
According to reports, Mukesh created a fake Facebook ID posing as a girl and sent a friend request to the minor. The victim accepted his friend request and chatted with him. Later she blocked him as he asked her to send her nude pictures.
Angered over the matter, Mukesh morphed the victim’s nude pictures and shared them on social media with her friends.
Following this, the minor then lodged a complaint with the cyber police cell. On the basis of the complaint, police have initiated an investigation and managed to nab the accused.
