Angul/Athamallik: In a tragic incident, a youth was tied to a pole and set on fire alive allegedly by his family members at Kadalimunda village under Handapa Police Station limits in Angul district on Tuesday.
The victim has been identified as Rajkishore Pradhan(25). He was allegedly tied to a pillar at Kadalimunda village and was set ablaze after being doused with petrol.
A case has been registered in this connection at Handapa police station.
Boinda police station in-charge Lav Boda said the cause of the incident is yet to be identified. He said the post-mortem will be done at Athamallik medical tomorrow.
