Sundergarh: A 27-year-old young girl went missing after she fell into Ib river while taking selfie on a mobile phone at Kanakund in Sundergarh district today.
The victim has been identified as Anupama Prajapati of Kumbharpada in Rajgangpur area.
According to reports, Anupama along with some other friends had come to the tourist spot for picnicking. While taking a selfie, her leg slipped and she fell into the river stream.
Following this, she swept away in the water and went missing.
On being informed, police and fire service personnel reached the spot and launched a search operation.
