World AIDS Day: Odisha CM Pledges To Prevent Stigma & Discrimination Against Patients

Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of World AIDS Day, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has taken the pledge to prevent the stigma and discrimination.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Patnaik wrote, “As the world fights #COVID19, let us not forget that there are millions of people living with HIV/AIDS. On #WorldAIDSDay, reiterate commitment to ensure quality and affordable healthcare, remove stigma and discrimination so that people living with AIDS can lead a normal life.”

Observed on December 1 every year since 1988, World AIDS Day is an international day dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic and mourning those who have died of the disease.
