Working Persons, Tenants In Puri Can Visit Srimandir Along With Locals
Puri: With the reopening of Lord Jagannath temple, the district administration here has made special arrangements for the people working and staying on rent in the pilgrim town for the darshan of deities.
The administration has announced that people working and staying on rent in the pilgrim town can now have darshan of Lord Jagannath and his siblings along with the locals. Special arrangements in this regard will be made for them by December 31 for smooth darshan of deities with strict adherence to COVID-19 rules.
The district administration further stated that people working in Puri need to provide appointment letter while tenants will need to provide house owner’s consent letter to visit the 12th-century shrine.
The residents of Puri town are having darshan of Lord Jagannath and deities inside the temple from December 26. The authorities have allowed for ward-wise darshan till December 31 evening.
