Dhamnagar: A woman and her son from Rameswarpur in Dhamnagar were injured in a fire mishap that occurred here.
As per available reports, the mother-son duo spotted the smoke emanating from the cowshed following which they rushed to the spot. However, while attempting to rescue the cattle from the cowshed that had accidentally caught fire, the duo sustained critical burn injuries.
Locals then rushed to help and later took the injured victims to Cuttack hospital in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the exact cause behind the inferno remained unknown.
