Nabarangpur: A woman Physical Education Teacher (PET) allegedly ended his life by hanging herself in the Umerkote area of Nabarangpur district on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Tanuja Biswas, a PET at the Jamrunda Residential Girls’ High School.
According to reports, the matter came to the fore after Tanuja’s father found her hanging from the ceiling of their house at Hatat Colony in Umerkote and alerted the police about the same.
On being informed, police reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem. The cops also seized a suicide note, suspected to have been written by Tanuja near her body.
Further investigation is underway in this regard.
