Woman Killed In Bike-Scooter Collision In Khurda
Khurda: A woman was killed while three others sustained critical injuries after a motorcycle and scooter collided near Anantapurgada on Nakhara-Niali road under Pahala police outpost late last night.
The deceased woman is said to be a resident of Kalyan Heights Apartment. However, the identity is yet to be known.
Reportedly, the incident took place while the woman and her husband were returning to their home in a scooter. Meanwhile, a speeding motorcycle collided with the scooter.
Following the mishap, the woman died on the spot while three others including her husband sustained grievous injuries.
Locals immediately rushed the injured persons to a nearby hospital for treatment.
On being informed, police reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem.
