Nayagarh: A 22-year-old woman of Odisha’s Nayagarh district committed suicide after being unable to bear the demise of her husband.
The deceased have been identified as Dillip Patra (28) and Bini Patra of Sanatangipatana village in Itamati area of the district.
According to reports, the couple had tied the knot in December, 2020.
Reportedly, Dilip complained of illness after the couple returned from Andaman was admitted to a private hospital in Cuttack.
Later, he tested positive for coronavirus. On Sunday, he succumbed to the infection.
Unable to accept the loss, Bini committed suicide.
