Nilagiri: A woman allegedly beat her husband to death at Tenda village under Nilagiri police station on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Butu Singh.
According to reports, an argument broke out between accused Gurubari Singh and her husband Butu after he attempted to misbehave with his daughter on the fateful night. The situation turned ugly after Gurubari tried to restrain Butu from the act. Meanwhile, the accused lost her control and attacked her husband Butu with a stump leading to his death on the spot.
On being informed, Police reached the spot and detained the accused for further investigation into the matter.
