Bargarh: The Chairman of West Odisha Development Council (WODC), Asit Kumar Tripathy today visited Bargarh district for the first time after being elected to the post.
Tripathy held a two-stage review meeting with Bargarh District Collector, Jyoti Rajan Pradhan, Superintendent of Police, Padmini Sahu, and district officials of all departments at Ambapali Circuit House.
“In the coming days, the overall development of agriculture, horticulture, vegetables, fish farming, animal husbandry, industry, and cultural tourism will be carried out in Bargarh district and other districts of western Odisha,” said Tripathy, in the meeting.
The WODC Chairman further opined that Bargarh district would be turned into a role model district.
