Widespread Rains Likely In These Odisha Dists For Next 5 Days

Bhubaneswar: Several parts of the State will witness rainfall for the next five days, informed the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) regional centre.

According to IMD’s latest bulletin, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Nayagarh, Boudh, Cuttack, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Sundargarh will witness heavy rainfall during the next 24 hours.

A yellow warning has also been issued for these districts.

Similarly, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at most places over the districts of Interior Odisha, and at a many places over Coastal Odisha yesterday.

Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Bolangir, Boudh, Angul, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj on July 21.

Similarly, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, and Cuttack, Ganjam on the same day, the IMD stated.
