Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and assured the Centre of providing all cooperation in the ‘War-like situation’.
Over the telephonic conversation, Patnaik discussed the Covid situation in the country.
“It is a war like situation and Odisha will extend all cooperation in the fight against Covid at the national level including ramping up oxygen production to assist other states in this emergency situation,” said Patnaik.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday thanked the Odisha government after Chief Minister Patnaik assured complete support to Delhi in facilitating the lifting of Delhi’s quota of oxygen.
The additional oxygen will be supplied to Delhi from Odisha by airways, informed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a video message today.
The Centre has increased Delhi’s oxygen quota from 378 MT to 480 MT. However, Delhi Government sought 700 MT per day for its current need.
