Bhubaneswar: At least 203 cases have been registered in the State for different violations of regulations and guidelines related to COVID-19.
Out of the 203 cases, 185 were for violation of lockdown norms, three for violation of home quarantine and rest 15 for other issues related to COVID19.
After rise in Coronavirus cases in India, the government imposed a 21-day nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of virus.
Worldwide, the virus has killed over 50,000 and sickened over 1 million in a pandemic that the UN has described as the worst global crisis since the Second World War.
However, some people were seen flouting the lockdown norms across the country. Taking note of the report, police had to take action against the violators.
