Mumbai: Sherni, starring Vidya Balan in the lead role, released online on Friday, June 18. Sherni is streaming exclusively on the Amazon Prime Video platform. Anyone with a Prime Video subscription will be able to watch the film from June 18.
The forest drama is a close-to-reality take on the man vs animal conflict, helped immensely by the presence of Vidya Balan and Vijay Raaz.
The title song of the film was also released prior to the film’s release as a build-up. The song titled Main Sherni has been sung by AKASA along with rapper and lyricist Raftaar. The lyrics for the song have been written by Raghav and Utkarsh Dhotekar has composed the music.
