Bhubaneswar: In view of the COVID-19 surge, the state government has decided to conduct video classes for Plus II 1st year students this academic session.
Bijay Kumar Patra, Additional Director, Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) Odisha, has written to all the High School Principals in this regard.
The DHSE has asked the principals to submit a list of all interested and experienced teachers in the digital and online mode of teaching with their details in different subjects and streams by May 21.
The DHSE Additional Director, in the letter, mentioned that due to the COVID-19 situation, regular offline classes could not be conducted but regular studies through online teaching is a wise substitute.
While digital classes, through online mode as well as through telecast mode are going on for Plus II 2ndyear, shooting of learning videos in different subjects for Plus II 1st year will commence soon, the letter further mentioned.
