Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Thursday announced that construction of a Vaccine Production Unit has begun at Andharua on Bhubaneswar outskirts.
According to reports, Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra has directed officials concerned to expedite the construction work of the unit for commencing production of vaccines by June 2022.
The Vaccine Production Unit will produce around ten types of advanced vaccines including the vaccine for Coronavirus and Malaria, official sources informed.
