UP CM gets death threat, cops out to trace caller

Lucknow: The UP Chief Minister has received death threat from an unknown person. The whatsApp was sent to UP police on the emergency number.

The unknown person warned that he has ‘only four days left’ to survive. A complaint has been filed in Sushant Golf City police station in this connection. The police have started an investigation into the incident and the number is being traced.

Police sources said they have deployed a surveillance team to trace the unknown caller. The sources said the threat was received on the evening of April 29.

Worthwhile to mention that in November last, a 15-year-old boy had sent a message on the 112-helpline of the Uttar Pradesh Police. The teenager was annoyed over the closure of schools in the state following coronavirus pandemic and threatened with dire consequences.

Adityanath’s  security has been tightened and he will now be secured by a strong team of CISF commandos  wherever he goes across country.
