Union Ministers, CMs of various states, offer prayers to Holy Trinity at Puri Srimandir

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has formed its government in Odisha with Mohan Charan Majhi taking the oath as the new Chief Minister on Wednesday. Prominent BJP leaders, Ministers and Chief Ministers from BJP-governed states sought blessings from Shri Jagannath.

On Wednesday morning, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Goa’s Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Puri MP Sambit Patra paid a visit to the Srimandir. Upon their arrival at the Singhadwar (Lion Door) of the temple, they were greeted by BJP workers and leaders. Subsequently, the BJP leadership had the darshan of Mahaprabhu.

Following the swearing-in ceremony of the newly formed BJP government in Odisha in the evening, several dignitaries including Haryana’s CM Nayab Singh Saini and his wife, Madhya Pradesh’s CM Mohan Yadav and his wife, Assam’s CM Himant Biswasharma, Tripura’s CM Manik Shah and Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav visited the main shrine under high security.

All the dignitaries were received by the temple and district administration. Amidst tight security, the guests entered the temple and had the darshan of the Almighty.
