Boudh: The body of an unidentified youth was recovered near the Gopalmal petrol pump on the Manamunda-Kantamal road in Boudh district on Monday morning.
According to reports, the incident came to light after some locals spotted the body on the roadside and alerted the police about the same.
On being informed, police reached the spot and recovered the body for post mortem.
Though the exact reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained. Police have suspected it to be a murder case as several cuts and bruise marks were found on his body.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain the identity of the deceased, sources said.
