Rourkela: Two trailers have been seized from the premise of Rourkela steel plant for entering the compound without required documents and entry passes.
According to sources, the two vehicles were seized by RSP crime branch and Vigilance officials near the New Plate Mill area. However, the driver of the vehicle fled from the spot before the officials could detain him.
Meanwhile, the authorities also suspect that the vehicles and its owner were hatching a plan to steal iron from the plant.
Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) also suspended four of its employees after two trucks reportedly entered the New Plate Mill area of the plant without entry pass and necessary documents.
Few CISF staffers were also issued with a show-cause notice over the suspicion regarding their alleged involvement in the matter.
A probe into the incident is underway, sources said.
