Deogarh: Forest dept personnel today arrested two poachers from Khasda forest under Rheamal forest range in Deogarh district and seized one country-made pistol from their possession.
The accused persons have been identified as Birodh Nayak (35) and Ajay Pradhan (30) from Tuhilamal village.
Reportedly, the forest personnel raided the forest and arrested the duo while they were out for hunting. During the raid, the cops have also seized one country-made pistol, six live bullets, and animal trap from them.
Further investigation is underway into the matter, forest official informed.
