Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Pathani Samanta planetarium and Burla planetarium remain closed for tourists for a period of three days from tomorrow in view of the surge in Omicron cases in the state.
“Pathani Samanta Planetarium, Bhubaneswar and Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Planetarium, Burla will remain temporarily closed for visitors with effect from 31st December 2021 to 2nd January 2022 as a precautionary measure against the spread of new Covid variant Omicron which has been causing concern for the state, a notification stated today.
The State Government has already banned the Zero Night celebration in the State as part of precautionary measures in view of the huge crowds at various places ahead of New Year.
