Malkangiri: At least two persons were killed while another sustained critical injuries in a road mishap at Goudaguda under model police station in Malkangiri district.
The deceased have been identified as Piyush Das (26) and his maternal uncle Mithun Das (28) of MV-1 village in the district.
Reportedly, the incident took place while the trio was heading towards MV-2 village on the motorcycle when a speeding truck hit their two-wheeler, killing two of them on the spot.
The injured person was immediately rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
On being informed, police reached the spot and launched a probe in this regard.
