Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate police claimed to have busted a mobile theft racket with the arrest of two persons at Laxmisagar area in the state capital, Bhubaneswar.
The arrestees have been identified as Rabi Pal and Sujit Lal of Haladipadia slum under Laxmisagar police
Reportedly, the matter came to the fore after several people lodge complaints regarding mobile theft in the locality.
Acting on the complaints, police registered a case and launched a probe in this connection.
Later, police arrested two accused from Haladiyapada slum area after tracking their mobile phone location. The cops also seized at least nine stolen mobile phones from their possession.
The accused were now at Jharpada jail custody as the court refused their bail plea.
