Mayurbhanj: The bodies of two minor siblings were found hanging from a tree near a canal at Bhodushala village under Betanati police limits in Mayurbhanj district.
The deceased boy (16) and girl (14) hail from Bhodushala village.
According to reports, the matter came to the fore after some locals spotted the lifeless bodies and immediately informed the police about the same.
On being informed, police reached the spot and recovered the bodies for post-mortem.
A case of unnatural death has been registered in this connection. However, the identity of the deceased siblings and the cause behind death is yet to be ascertained.
Further investigation is underway in this regard, police said.
