Mayurbhanj: Two labourers from Mayurbhanj district, who were working at a stone quarry in Andhra Pradesh, were killed after they were hit by a car near a tea stall on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Lubina Marandi and Suru Marandi of Koshiabeda village under Joka panchayat in Mayurbhanj district.
According to sources, Lubina and Suru had gone to a tea stall near the site.They were hit by a speeding car and died on the spot.
Later, the bodies were sent to their village with the help of the administration. The locals have demanded compensation for the deceased family members.
