Two Killed In Separate Road Accidents In Odisha

Jagatsinghpur/Keonjhar: At least two persons were killed in two separate road accidents in Jagatsinghpur and Keonjhar on Thursday morning.

In the first incident, the driver of a coal-laden truck lost his balance and the vehicle hit a bakery-loaded pickup van at Choudhurigoda village this morning. Following the accident, the driver of the pick-van died on the spot.

On being informed, police reached the spot recovered the body for post-mortem.

In a similar incident, a youth, identified as Benudhar Gochhayat, was killed after he was crushed to death by a speeding truck at Khireitangiri village under Patna police limit in Keonjhar this morning.

Gochhayat, a native of Budhamara village in Mayurbhanj, was working as an electrical engineer at Keonjhar agro electrical.

Reportedly, police have seized the body, and further investigation into the matter is underway, said sources.
